These Terms set forth the conditions of use for the service "Paper Cruxy" (the "Service") provided by Paper Cruxy (Operating Manager: Yuta Tsunemi, hereinafter "we"). Users shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to the conditions of provision of the Service and to the rights and obligations between us and users.

Article 2 (Content of the Service)

This Service provides educational content such as explanations, summaries, and slides related to medical papers.This Service is intended to support study and journal clubs, and does not substitute for individual clinical, diagnostic, or treatment decisions.Final clinical decisions shall be made by the user based on the original papers and the latest guidelines, among other sources.

Article 3 (Registration and Accounts)

  1. Users shall register with accurate information.
  2. Users are responsible for managing their own accounts and may not share or lend them to third parties.
  3. We may refuse or cancel registration if the registered information is false or fraudulent.

Article 4 (Fees and Payment)

  1. The fees and billing cycle for paid plans shall be as displayed on the pricing page.
  2. Payments are processed through a payment service provider (Stripe) and are automatically charged on the renewal date.
  3. Cancellation is available at any time from the member page, and billing will stop from the next renewal date onward. As a general rule, no prorated refunds will be given.

Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights and Scope of Use)

  1. Copyright in the content of this Service (explanations, slides, charts, etc.) belongs to us or to the rightful rights holder.
  2. Users may use the content within the scope of their own study or in-hospital journal clubs. Redistribution, sale, public transmission, or commercial use without our prior consent is not permitted.

Article 6 (Prohibited Matters)

Violation of laws, infringement of third-party rights, sharing of accounts or unauthorized access, unauthorized reproduction or redistribution of content, and interference with the operation of the Service, among others, are prohibited.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. We make efforts, to the extent possible, regarding the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of the content, but do not guarantee it. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from use, except as required by law.
  2. This Service may change, suspend, or terminate its content without prior notice.

Article 8 (Amendment of Terms)

We may amend these Terms as necessary, and the amended Terms shall take effect upon posting on this site.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and any disputes relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the District Court having jurisdiction over our location as the court of first instance.
